I am a singer songwriter in the Australian Country Music Genre and in June after returning from one of my frequent tours to Nashville, was diagnosed with cancer and have been undergoing treatment ever since.
Surgery and removal of the tumor found that it had been located over a lymph node, so then further therapies were required by was of a 12 cycle of Chemo therapy.
I am into my 10th cycle and even though my waist length hair was only supposed to thin, I have ended up with a very wide ‘reverse mowhawk’ down the center and back of my head as well as having lost well and truly more than half of my thick head of hair.
The hairdresser at the Cancer Council’s ‘Look Good Feel Good’ workshop advises that for re-growth to be equal and strong, that I need to go one step further and shave it off. My oncologist when he saw me yesterday, admitted he had never seen such hair loss as mine with the toxic cocktail I am on. So ... my point that I am coming to, after searching, begging, borrowing, trying and buying different wigs, I discovered your online wig shop that I found has been fantastic and affordable ... and the wigs are great as far as quality goes ... equal to, if not better than any of the wigs I already have and had been trying.
I have already made mention of your online service to the oncology department at the hospital where I go to and they have asked for your details to pass on to patients, which I will happily do.
When I get organized, I would be happy to take some pics for you and send them through ... I figure I need to have a little adventure and fun with my new looks (rather than get depressed about my circumstances0and I figure if Dolly Parton can do it, so can I!!
All the best and thank you for your service
